Aliyah Dominique Jefferies is a narrative and documentary filmmaker, photographer, and writer. After studying at New York University for Film and Television Production and English, Aliyah gained industry experience through the NBCUniversal Page Program. There she worked on Saturday Night Live, and after graduating the program continued to work at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Aliyah won an Honorable Mention in the 2023 Latino & Native American Film Festival for their short documentary “Sol Blossom Crochet,” and received the Philadelphia Indy Filmmaker Finishing Grant from Scribe Video Center their first short narrative film titled, “Be Back By 3,”. She is also the founder and CEO of Baltimore Ave Productions. Aliyah currently lives in Philadelphia, where she dedicates her time to teaching documentary filmmaking to high school students and trying new recipes.
